Cent's prize pool was launched eight months ago. More than one million tokens have been distributed so far. We continue to work on the efficient operation of the coin's prize pool and liquidity pools. We added the tag "introduceyourself" to the prize pool in the past months. Removed the effect of negative votes in the prize pool. We're starting to add tags to the prize pool to be ignored. Our delegation work continues. We are continuing our development work in order for the token and the project to achieve their goals. That's why we made a few updates to the repository.
Slightly increased token production. From some curators; We received feedback like, "My voting power was 15 cents yesterday, today it's 13 cents". This issue is usually caused by the prize pool generating too few coins. For example: If one of the cent whales consumes too much voting power in a short time, it drastically reduces the generated tokens in the prize pool. For this reason, the number of Cents in the votes of all accounts was decreasing. The prize pool is currently generating 5 coins per minute. We will continue to adjust the coin generation in the prize pool so that Cent stays in the targeted price balance and users can receive satisfactory returns.
There have been some updates to Hive-Engine's SMT (Smart media Tokens) contract. The frontend is able to ignore some tags. You can suggest tags as comments that you don't want to appear on the frontend. A few tags were ignored for testing purposes. Updates will be made according to the suggestions received.
A 10% deduction will be applied from the shares made without using the front-end. The "cent" tag is used quite actively. However, the number of shares made on our community page is very small. In our previous posts, we announced that we would work to make our community page more active. Making some deductions from the shares made using only the "cent" tag will accelerate these studies. In addition, we encounter users who use the "cent" tag with a few tribal projects and are not active at all in the communities. We will continue to seek solutions to prevent unfair reward gains with such measures.
We are starting work so that the project can continue on its own. So far we have spent approximately 12,000 BEE for the Cent project. The curation revenues of the account, the revenues obtained from the shares using only tags without using a front-end, will be the first source for these studies. With this account, we start adding liquidity to liquidity pools. We started to make market maker transactions in the Hive/Cent market. We have plans to collaborate with other communities. Various plans are being made regarding the CentG token.
See you in new posts. Stay tuned.
