I gave the boys and myself different ones and this time I got a star one. Yes a star Rubik and cubiksisch hahahah
I took pictures while we were playing wih them and have to say my boy’s have a new favorite toy during their Christmas holiday playing time. And I am glad I choose the Rubik cubes because they have made a new game out of it to guess what the next color will be after a move ! Really cool and I can take them in my purse and it’s not a screen hahahah and a new that we all had some down time these days just to try and solve the puzzle.
This is C helping me with a video
But what is a Rubik’s cube ?
It’s the best-selling puzzle of all time for over 30 years: the original Rubik's Cube! Challenge and frustration are close to each other in solving the Rubik's Cube 3x3: there are billions of combinations, but there is only one solution.
Here is a video with the ones we have :
But as all games there is a story.....
About 40 years ago, a poor English-speaking professor from Hungary took his toy cube to New York. His puzzle was already a hit in his home country. But that would probably not be anything the same across the border: maybe it was too difficult. The inventor of the cube still lives in Budapest. It was a rage, an epidemic. Something you wanted rompen. In three years, one hundred million cubes worldwide were sold. Within a year there were three books in the US bestseller list on how to solve the cube. An influential article appeared in Scientific American magazine, arguing that the cube is of great importance to science. At the end of the year, the cube was on the cover of Time magazine. Yes this Colorful thingie was huge ! And we all own one or owned one before when we were little.
This is my entry for the contest, hope you let me know if you like it or if you own a cube.
