Hi everyone! My apologies, this latest contest announcement post is way overdue as I have been busy in real life recently.
When I announced the contest over three weeks ago, there was hardly any response in the first week and I was worried that no one would enter. Luckily all the entries started to flow in the next week, and you guys all did a job a million times better than I have done. So thank you for taking the time and effort to help the Toys on Hive Community build a new identity.
PRIZE POOL
First of all, to recap, the prize pool for the contest was 24 HBD prize pool split as follows
- three winners, one each for the Header, Divider and Banner. Each winner will win 6 HBD
- three consolation prizes of 2 HBD each for three other designs that didn't make the cut. They can be either a Header, Divider or Banner, depending on the entries.
THE WINNER
I had a lot of difficulty in choosing the Header, divider and banner, and to make sure it gave a coherent look and feel to the community. The original idea was to choose three different winners if possible. But since everyone's design was quite different, I opted for one single winner in the end for all three categories.
Congratulations to @camiloferrua for creating a lovely set of designs for Toy on Hive!!
@camiloferrua designed several options for each of the header, divider and banner, and shared his thought process behind the design. The options I have chosen for each category are below.
" Based on dynamic colors, cheerful typographies with different weights and variables I have designed a complete identity proposal for the Toys on Hive community. The idea consists of applying a coherent and functional graphic identity with characteristic elements easily recognizable and with great visual impact."
