Victorian-Style Dollhouse
I guess if money wasn't an issue I would buy dollhouses and restore them, I have always wanted a dollhouse of my own. I just so happen to be on the phone with my mom one day and she told me about her dollhouse she had stored in my brother's basement. She moved out of state and my brother didn't want it sitting in his basement collecting dust. She said I could have it if I wanted to go get it. I told her that I would call my brother and see what condition the dollhouse was in. I was amazed to find that the house was in almost excellent condition! A few days later I called my mom to let her know that I had talked to my brother and made arrangements to have it delivered to my house.

LIVING ROOM
This is the living room with a fireplace
I just love that this house came fully furnished.
To bad it's not life-sized and sitting on 10 acres, with no neighbors.
KITCHEN
This is the kitchen
The kitchen does not have a sink, but it does have an old-fashioned stove. The table and chairs are made from cast iron.
BEDROOM
This is the bedroom
The bed has amazing detail. On the dresser are a comb, a razor, a handheld mirror, and a blush brush.
BATHROOM
This is the bathroom
This bathroom is so cute! I love the old-fashioned chain flush toilet. I think the tub looks super cool also. The 2 white butterfly benches did not come with the house. I added those from my collection of fairy garden items. Which is another craft interest I have.
BACK OF HOUSE
This is the back of the house
The back view of the house shows the layout of the rooms. There is also an attic but I couldn't get that photo to load.
There was so much work put into this house. It has electricity! Electricity doesn't work right now but it will someday. The windows even open and close too. How cool is that?? I still have some work to do on this house, but the way it sits right now is the way I got it.
This is my adult toy. I can hold every item in the photos above in my hand.
