Back in school last year, I had this one guy who was a neighbour. We hardly got 24/7 electricity in the area so I'd normally turn on my generator in the evenings, and have some of the neighbours come over to see a movie or to recharge their phones at my place.
So this guy comes in one evening (11pm) because he wanted to recharge his phone's battery. I let him in and he heads straight for the kitchen. I figured he wanted to use the socket by the kitchen wall (I normally allowed that whenever the sockets in the living room were all occupied). So, I let him and just continued seeing a movie.
Next thing I know, he comes out with a plate of food, perfectly relaxed, eating and looking at me.
I didn't know how to react. It's not the first time he's been to my kitchen to recharge his phone, but it was definitely the first time I've had anyone do that at my place.
I found it rather weird because we're quite the superstitious bunch here in Africa, and it's very disrespectful to open a person's pot of food without their permission. It gets even weirder, especially when no one knows where you've been.
So, what’s the weirdest thing a guest has done at your house?
Also, since you're here, can any point me to a simple Hive delegator like the one we had at steemdel? http://www.steemdel.com/ or is anyone interested in delegating some HP to a new community member? @beckie96830
Thank you.
