Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
Welcome to my ATH (Ask the Hive) weekly series that I created to increase the engagement level on Hive (or at least among my followers).
In the last round, we had a very interesting and prolific debate about what you have been doing with your powered down Steem that eventually generated as many as 35 comments - thanks for your contribution guys! I hope we will have a lot of engagement in this round too :)
The question for this round is: is your country past the peak of the coronavirus pandemic yet?

I am already back to my Czech homeland and seeing how things are finally getting back to normal here, I figured it would be interesting to get some updates on how the situation is in your countries.
Here in the Czech Republic, more and more restrictions are lifted almost every day and life seems to be pretty close to what it was in the "pre-corona times".
The only limitation that I can personally feel right now is the mandatory use of face masks in shops and public transport and that pubs and bars have to close by 11 P.M. Other than that, it feels pretty good and normal here. The curve of new cases has been under control here for many weeks already so I think I can say we are past the peak of the pandemic (or at least past the peak of the first wave).
However, I know (and it´s heartbreaking to see) that in many parts of the world, the worst is yet to come. Undoubtedly, Latin America is currently the new epicenter of the pandemic but the number of new cases are increasing alarmingly in some Asian and African countries too. Some U.S. states are actually still struggling as well.
So how is the situation in your countries, guys? Are you already past the peak of the pandemic? Let me know in the comment section below, I am eager to check out your replies.
As usually, I will try to upvote all creative and interesting comments.
