For some time now I have been practicing photography. Although there are an infinite number of things you can photograph, I personally love taking pictures of nature. You can find great beauty in plants, in landscapes and even in things that go unnoticed like a small insect hidden among the leaves.

In nature there is an infinity of things that can be photographed, you can even make combinations between the natural and the urban...

However, today I would like to focus only on nature and the beautiful colors it can show, as varied as unique. Therefore, I would like to share with you this series of photographs where flowers are the protagonists, I present to you: Colors.

Desde hace un tiempo he estado practicando un poco la fotografía. Aunque hay infinidad de cosas a las que se puede fotografíar, a mi en lo personal me encanta tomar fotografías de la naturaleza. Se puede encontrar gran belleza en las plantas, en los paisajes y hasta en cosas que pasan desapercibidas como un pequeño insecto oculto entre las hojas.

En la naturaleza hay infinidad de cosas que se pueden fotografiar, incluso se pueden hacer combinaciones entre lo natural y lo urbano...

Sin embargo, hoy me gustaría concentrarme unicamente en la naturaleza y en los hermosos colores que esta puede lucir, tan variados como únicos. Por ello, me gustar[ia compartir con ustedes esta serie de fotografías en donde las flores son los protagonistas, les presento: Colores.

In nature, there are many beautiful and varied colors. One of those colors is yellow, with which I will begin. This time you can see a photograph of a flower that here in my country is known as cayenne, it is the only flower that I know by name of all those that I will share.

En la naturaleza se aprecia cantidad de colores tan bonitos como variados. Uno de esos colores es el amarillo, con el cual comenzaré. En esta ocasión pueden ver una fotografía de una flor que aquí en mi país se conoce como cayena, es la única flor que conozco por nombre de todas las que compartiré.

This flower catches my attention because I have seen it in different colors, red or orange, for example. In those varieties of this same flower the yellow flower spikes stand out, which in this one go unnoticed because the rest of the flower body is totally yellow. Even so, among so much green it certainly stands out.

Me llama mucho la atención esta flor porque la he visto en distintos colores, rojo o naranja, por ejemplo. En esas variedades de esta misma flor resaltan las espigas amarillas de la flor, que en esta pasan desapercibida pues el resto del cuerpo de la flor es totalmente amarillo. Aún así, entre tanto verde sin duda resalta.

The next color in this series is orange. This is why the next flower has this color. Unlike the previous flower, this one is not unicolor; it has orange, pink, and even reddish tints, with a crimson center with yellowish ornaments that give more brightness to this beautiful flower.

El siguiente color en esta serie es el naranja. Por ello la siguiente flor presenta este color. A diferencia de la flor anterior, esta no es unicolor; tiene tintes naranjas, rosados, e incluso rojizos, con un centro carmesí con adornos amarillentos que dan más brillo a esta hermosa flor.

I found this flower on the side of the street, on a sidewalk where a small bush had grown and had only a few flowers that had bloomed at the time.

Esta flor la encontré a un lado de la calle, en una acera donde había crecido un pequeño arbusto en el que solo tenía unas cuantas flores que habían florecido en ese momento.

When we put the words red and flower together, red roses usually come to mind; however, there are many flowers in nature that show off this intense color, one of them is the one I present below.

Cuando juntamos las palabras rojo y flor, normalmente se nos viene a la mente las rosas rojas; sin embargo, hay muchas flores en la naturaleza que lucen este intenso color, una de ellas es la que les presento a continuación.

If in the previous flower the yellow stood out in the crimson center of the for, in this one it stands out even more. Although it is small and could go unnoticed because of its size, the truth is that it stands out for its intense color. I remember when I found this bush with a few flowers, the first one that stood out to my eyes was the red one; a chlor that certainly captures the eye immediately...

Si en la flor anterior el amarillo resaltaba en el centro carmesí de la for, en esta resaltan aún más. Aunque es pequeña y podría pasar desapercibida por su tamaño, lo cierto es que resalta por su color tan intenso. Recuerdo que cuando encontré este arbusto con unas cuantas flores, la primera que resaltó a mis ojos fue la roja; un clor que sin duda capta la vista de inmediato...

In the following photograph we lower the intensity of the color of the photo a little. We go from orange and yellow tones to a pink color with reddish tones.

En la siguiente fotografía bajamos un poco la intensidad del color de la foto. Pasamos de tonalidades naranjas y amarillas a un color rosa con tonalidades rojizas.

I must assume, from the shape of the flower, that it is the same variety of flower as the two previous ones. It is interesting the gradient that can be seen in the petals of the flower, like a gala dress between green leaves that accompany it behind.

He de suponer, por la forma de la flor, que es la misma variedad de flor que las dos anteriores. Resulta interesante el degradado que se aprecia en los pétalos de la flor, cual vestido de gala entre hojas verdes que la acompañan detrás.

In my search for colors, I found a couple of bushes with this flower that is very common here. I have seen it in shades of white, pink and this one which is a deep fuchsia with a white center.

En mi recorrido en busca de colores, encontré un par de arbustos con esta flor que es muy común aquí. La he visto en tonalidades blancas, rosadas y esta que es de un fucsia intenso con un centro blanco.

A beautifully colored flower, slender and fragile but with abundant companions in a green bush full of color and beauty.

Una flor de hermoso color, delgada y frágil pero con abundantes acompañantes en un arbusto verde repleto de color y belleza.

Another flower that I found very close to the area was the following:

Otra flor que encontré muy cerca del área, fue la siguiente:

A flower that, by the state of its petals, will probably fall off during the course of the day. Although it is close to death, it has a very beautiful lilac color that darkens towards its interior. A beautiful dress that this flower wears even before perishing...

Una flor que, por el estado de sus pétalos, probablemente se caerá en el transcurso del día. Aunque está próxima a su muerte, luce un color lila muy hermoso que va oscurecíendose hacia su interior. Un vestido hermoso que luce esta flor incluso antes de perecer...

I am very surprised to have found so many different colors in these flowers, especially in a small area, because I didn't have to go too far to capture all these photos.

I found other fores very pretty, but they had different shapes that contrasted with the flowers I have already shared, like this one, for example:

Me llama mucho la atención haber encontrado colores tan variados en estas flores, sobre todo en un área pequeña, pues no tuve que recorrer demasiado para capturar todas estas fotografías.

Encontré otras fores muy bonitas, pero tenían formas distintas que hacían contraste con las flores que ya he compartido, como esta, por ejemplo:

A flower whose plant is quite large and abundant green leaves, which shows a small flower but very exotic and interesting colors and shapes...

Una flor cuya planta es bastante grande y de abundantes ojas verdes, que luce una flor pequeña pero colores y formas muy exóticas e interesantes...
