Alright, big thanks to @themarkymark we now have a fully functional Brofi back up and running. This time, instead of delegating your hive engine tokens to Brofi, you will delegate Hive to @brofi and in return receive BRO as a reward.
Rewards are paid out dependent on our curation. So we will have our curation APR + a 10% bonus on top of that. Rewards will work out at roughly around about the 17% APR mark.
How is it sustainable?
Well, for the last six months I have been building up a heavy splinterlands account. Most will know that our account is well into six figures of the assets we own. I was getting us ready for lands, and I'm sure if you read us regularly then you will know that I was surprised by the fact that lands are at least a year away. That has left me with a massive gap in my schedule. So, now, I'm focusing on HP.
This means that instead of buying up Hive for HP, I will be buying up BRO constantly so that you guys can receive your rewards.
I will also be buying back at the true price of our fund. I did a rough calculation and we sit at approximately 4 Hive each BRO. Hopefully I can catch @amr008 so that he can create me a regular price feed (fund value / ~69,000 BRO) to keep an up to date "actual" buy back scheme
I listened to what my Dragons said.
We had a long discussion in the Dragon room yesterday about fund worth versus perception on hive engine. It was brought to my attention that even although our fund is worth so many thousands, there is no incentive to buy and/or sell at that price, unless I sell off all the assets then no-one will see that for their BRO.
I thought this a very valid, and crucial point, so, from this point onwards I am going to make sure I am building a very large buyback order at fund "actual" price. This of course does not include dividends given out - I will only be buying back at asset backed price. You may think however it is worth more.
Delegate Hive to @brofi, get BRO & More.
So I looked into the @brofi voting patterns. They were erratic, voted up shite, and would often receive downvotes -- zeroing some of our days hive rewards to nothing. Mainly because we were upvoting total crap.
So to make things better I've decided to make Brofi follow @brofund's schedule. That means wherever brofund votes, brofi will follow -- and brofund's power is never low, and votes on quality work.
Great news if you are a BRO owner, because if you own BRO then you absolutely know that you receive a complimentary daily vote from @brofund.
