Hello friends. Lately I've had a lot of time to draw, and it's made me very happy. I love spending hours drawing while watching a series, and in fact, right now I'm watching one that I really like, and it encourages me to keep painting. So today I decided to draw some eyes, the part of the face I like the most. I've mentioned it on several occasions, but I always like to emphasize that eyes are like a window; they express many emotions, and every look hides a world of stories behind them. Today I wanted to do it in pink/reddish tones. I hope you like it.
As always, I sketched the eyes and began painting with the colors I chose. This time, I used pink and some soft red tones. I also wanted the iris to be red. Then I added more colors to give it a better shape. I began mixing all the colors, leaving the skin textured but a little more realistic.
Next, I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes. I chose a desaturated red for the eyebrows and a slightly darker red for the eyelashes. I decided to add some lighting effects using a very soft blue, and then I highlighted the eyes a bit more with a pure white. I finished with a slight color adjustment.
