Un poco de Himari
Himari es un espíritu gato samurái y ha jurado proteger a Yuto Amakawa, un ser humano de 16 años sin ningún familiar vivo, pero con una herencia de un amuleto poderoso. En la era feudal existieron 12 familias dedicadas al exterminio de demonios, pero una de ellas perdonó la vida de los espíritus gatos samurái y desde entonces juraron proteger a todos los miembros de esa familia. Muchos demonios acechan a Yuto, debido a que su amuleto de protección contra demonios se le acaba el poder para protegerlo, pero Himari aparece en su vida y evita que lo asesinen en incontables ocasiones. Aunque dichos demonios (la mayoria con forma femenina) luego de darse que cuenta de que Yuto no es como su familia en la era feudal y no busca exterminarlas, ellas comienzan a tener sentimientos hacia él.
Yuto siente un gran sentido de responsabilidad, interés e incluso afecto hacia Himari. Y a lo largo de la historia se acercan cada vez más. Al inicio Yuto tiene muchos problemas con la cercanía de Himari debido a que es alérgico a los gatos, pero eso no impide que pasen muchas cosas entre ellos. El fuerte lazo que se forma entre Yuto y Himari es un factor determinante en el momento en el que Himari casi pierde su consciencia, perdiéndose en su naturaleza demoniaca, pero Yuto logra despertarla y traerla a la normalidad. Todas las demonios que se encuentran a lo largo de la historia terminan de alguna manera conviviendo con ambos, pero sin poner en duda de que Himari es quien ha robado el corazón de Yuto, convirtiéndose en mucho más que solo su protectora.
Inicié con las líneas bases sin remarcar mucho, solo para darme una idea del tamaño que ocuparía en la hoja.
Luego procedí a dibujar y sombrear la ropa con grafito oscuro.
Continué con el cabello y remarcando líneas importantes para darle un poco más de contorno.
Oscurecí el cabello y añadí algunos reflejos, me gustó como quedaron las tonalidades en el cabello.
Luego comencé con la espada y algunos detalles en la ropa, la mano y el cuello, dejando de último el rostro.
Por último dibujé los ojos, las cejas, la boca y la nariz. Además de agregar unas cuantas sombras en el rostro. Este fue el resultado.
Este personaje en específico me recuerda mucho a mi novia y fui yo quien se lo recomendó años atrás. Me recuerda a ella porque literalmente es como si fuera mitad gato, además de que tienen personalidades un poco similares y la dualidad de cuando está tranquila a cuando está enojada es muy parecida a Himari. jeje Pienso que este personaje la representa mucho. Y también es su personaje favorito (femenino) de anime.
En esta ocasión decidí no difuminar el dibujo. Y es que la verdad me gustó como quedó de esa manera. De todos modos seguiré aprendiendo y probando qué es lo que mejor me funciona y adaptarme a un estilo en específico para que los dibujos cada vez sean mejores.
Lamento si mis métodos son básicos y que debo mejorar muchas cosas, pero obviamente no soy un experto. Solo quise terminar mi dibujo. Espero que les haya gustado.

A little bit about Himari
Himari is a samurai cat spirit and is sworn to protect Yuto Amakawa, a 16-year-old human with no living relative, but with an inheritance of a powerful amulet. In the feudal era there were 12 families dedicated to exterminating demons, but one of them spared the lives of samurai cat spirits and since then they have sworn to protect all members of that family. Many demons stalk Yuto, because his amulet of protection against demons runs out of power to protect him, but Himari appears in his life and prevents him from being killed countless times. Although these demons (mostly in female form) after realizing that Yuto is not like his family in the feudal era and does not seek to exterminate them, they begin to have feelings for him.
Yuto feels a great sense of responsibility, interest and even affection towards Himari. And throughout the story they grow closer and closer. At first Yuto has a lot of problems with Himari's closeness because he is allergic to cats, but that doesn't stop a lot of things from happening between them. The strong bond that forms between Yuto and Himari is a determining factor in the moment when Himari almost loses her consciousness, losing herself in her demonic nature, but Yuto manages to wake her up and bring her back to normal. All the demons they meet throughout the story end up somehow coexisting with both of them, but without doubting that Himari is the one who has stolen Yuto's heart, becoming much more than just his protector.
I started with the base lines without highlighting much, just to get an idea of the size it would occupy on the sheet.
Then I proceeded to draw and shade the clothes with dark graphite.
I continued with the hair and highlighting important lines to give it a little more contour.
I darkened the hair and added some highlights, I liked the way the shades on the hair turned out.
Then I started with the sword and some details in the clothes, the hand and the neck, leaving the face last.
Finally I drew the eyes, eyebrows, mouth and nose. I also added a few shadows on the face. This was the result.
This specific character reminds me a lot of my girlfriend and I was the one who recommended it to her years ago. It reminds me of her because she is literally like half cat, plus they have somewhat similar personalities and the duality from when she is calm to when she is angry is very similar to Himari. hehe I think this character represents her a lot. And it's also her favorite (female) anime character.
This time I decided not to blur the drawing. And the truth is that I really liked how it turned out that way. Anyway, I will continue learning and trying what works best for me and adapting to a specific style so that the drawings are better and better.
I'm sorry if my methods are basic and that I need to improve many things, but obviously I'm not an expert. I just wanted to finish my drawing. I hope you liked it.
