Hi, here after a very very long time.
Today I want to share a portrait that I made yesterday also, I wanted some suggestions on something.
First the background, I got a request in the night from my friend to draw her and her grandma as her grandma by the next day's evening. So here are the progress photos.
First step - The Grid
Outline, I only had about 6 hrs to draw as we had to get it framed too.
basic layer of shading,the eyes didn't have much details as the eyes and nose take most of my time usually.
Grandma done! I changed her blouse as requested by her.
This was the drawing I was told to draw and change her blouse to full, I used some images from the internet to change her blouse from half to full.
Some issue with her lips but I didn't had time to fix it. She was bit angry that I made a mistake there 😅 But overall I was satisfied as I was able to complete it under deadline and I was doing it after a long time.
Now the other thing, I am trying to learn drawing from basic, I was following Marc Brunet's drawing fundamentals. I couldn't remain consistent
in this so I was wondering if I should post my learnings here on hive. Twice or thrice a week sometimes basic drawings and sometimes finished art. I will be looking for Criticism, suggestions, and of course, Appreciation when deserved and engage with other artists.
