Hello everyone.
I hope each and every one of you is doing wonderfully. As usual, it's always a pleasure for me to be among you. Art is more than a passion, it's an obsession. In one of the previous articles, I shared my first pen portrait, but it was actually my second pen portrait, as I hadn't found my first portrait.
I had considered it my first. After reading a book on female psychology, a book in which Sigmund Freud argued that after several years of studying women, they don't always know what they want.
This book actually inspired me to create my first pen portrait. I created this portrait on the back of one of the book's blank pages. In reality, this first black pen portrait was a self-portrait quickly created from a photo.
In this photo, I was actually lying in an armchair, my head slightly raised and leaning towards the forearm that was actually serving as support. My forearm was supporting the not very suitable posture that I had adopted.
This self-portrait resembles me a bit, although years later, looking back on it, I find it wasn't very well done.
After that, I created the second portrait, which is here. It's of a young woman with a shy yet pretty appearance and expression.
Tools used: Colored paper (the back of a book page on female psychology) and a black ink pen often used for creating comics(BD).
Thank you for reading this article, in which I share with you my first pen portrait, which is simply my self-portrait, and the second portrait previously posted in this community as my first portrait. It was a pleasure to briefly share it with you. Until the next portrait, take care and have a pleasant weekend.
