Hello Everyone!
Today’s 3d sculpture is inspired by one of the most remarkable shapes in nature ~ a flower. Even though there is countless variation in its form & color, the main appearance is still the same. The petals radiate from a single receptacle. I think you already get the idea by now.
For my 3d sculpture, I simplified the shape and made it look modern or abstract. It will be made of copper, one of the cheaper options among the metals available. Aise from its good appearance, copper is also durable and it gets better over time. It’s also lightweight, which is probably one of the reasons why they used copper for the Statue of Liberty.
Without further ado… here’s the final result:
Personally, I feel that the design is highly feasible in terms of workability & the cost of materials. There are very little finishing touches on the actual piece. On top of that, it requires very little maintenance over the years.
