Greetings Hiver friends, How are you there? Welcome to my art journal, another artwork I want to share with you today. In this post, I painted my original acrylic landscape composition. I am grateful for the outcome of this painting. It just started with a random stroke of painting brush with common colors of acrylic paint.
This time I only used five colors of acrylic paint and four types of painting brushes. It took me forty minutes to finish this painting.
Materials Needed:
π Acrylic paper pad
π Pencil and eraser
π Ruler
π Clean Water
π Rag
π Paper napkin
Brushes:
π Liner Brush
π Filbert brush
π Flat brush
π Round brush
Acrylic Paint:
π Titanium white
π Mars black
π Yellow ochre
π Ultramarine Blue
π Burnt sienna
Painting Basic Procedure:
Background \Sky: Titanium white and blue
Brush: flat brush
Middle ground:
Distant trees: blue, and yellow Ochre combined with white
Brush: Filbert brush
Foreground:
Closer Trees - burnt sienna, Mars black and with the highlights of titanium white.
Brush: Round brush for creating the tree trunks
Leaves: black, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, and white.
Brush: Filbert brush
Liner brush/extra details: tree limbs, grass, water lines, and water ripples
Take note: to make your painting alive put some water reflection, especially the light shadow.
