Greetings to all Hiver friends, How are you doing? I hope are doing great! I going to share with you today my new painting of an "Autumn Path Landscape" painted with acrylic paint. Autumn inspires me a lot because of the colorful views, especially when the sun hits the landscape which brings a stunning glow effect.
To those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic method below.
I used nine colors of acrylic paint and four types of painting brushes. It took me one hour and ten minutes to finish this painting.
Materials Needed:
š Acrylic paper pad
š Pencil and eraser
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin
Brushes:
š Liner brush
š Filbert brush
š Flat brush
š Round brush
Acrylic Paint:
š Titanium white
š Ultramarine blue
š Mars black
š Yellow ochre
š Lemon yellow
š Orange
š Green mid
š Grass Green
š Burnt sienna
Painting Procedures:
Background:
Sky:Titanium white, and blue.
Brush: Flat brush
Middle ground:
Distant trees: Yellow, yellow ochre, orange, green mid, and white.
The distant trees are less in detail, they are lighter in color than the foreground.
Brush: Filbert brush
Foreground:
Tree leaves: Grass green, green mid, and, black.
Highlights: Orange, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, and white.
Brush: Filbert brush
Tree trunks: Black, and white
Brush: Round brush and liner brush
Path: burnt sienna and white
Brush: Round brush
I used a liner brush for creating tree limbs and grass on the landscape.
