Hello Hivers, Welcome to another painting tutorial lesson. I decided to paint a black and white using acrylic paint. This is also a great way for the beginners to get started painting with two colors only. Black and white painting is not only beautiful but easy to follow the methods on how to do it.
In this lesson I will demonstrate the basic technicque how to paint black and white scene. The instructions are easy to follow in creating beautiful painting on a canvas. This is beneficial for the beginners for art practice. I believe you can get easily the procedure through this simple painting.
Materials Needed:
• Watercolor paper
• Pencil and Erazer
• Clean water
• Rag
• Round brush - #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
• Flat Brush/small - #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
• Titanium White
• Mars Black
Painting Process:
1. Paint the background with white and a very small amount of black. You can use the flat brush.
2. Load the round brush with black paint then tap the brush in order to create texture, after that make a shape of a tree.
3. In creating the shaddows and reflections swipe the brush to blend. Drag the paint from the dark into the light areas, then from the light areas drag the paint back into tha dark areas. Then cross stroke to make a calm water. The reflection of the sky and trees will make your painting alive.
4.For the last part putting extra details is very vital like putting water line.
