Mixed Map on Culture in my Country Venezuela 💛💙❤️

Today I come to show you the step by step of a mixed map that I made for school about the culture of my country Venezuela.

El dĂa de hoy vengo a mostrarles el paso a paso de un mapa mixto que hice para el colegio referente a la cultura de mi paĂs Venezuela.
STEP BY STEP✨
A few weeks ago I was sent this activity, we could choose between making a concept map, mental or mixed and I decided to do a mixed one to be able to draw and highlight my talent.
As I was excited to do it, I started it two weeks ago and yesterday it was due. I started making the sketches of the drawings that I was going to place on the bond paper.
Hace algunas semanas me mandaron esta actividad, podĂamos escoger entre hacer una mapa conceptual, mental o mixto y yo decidĂ hacer una mixto para poder dibujar y destacar mi talento.
Como estaba emocionado de hacerlo, lo empecĂ© hace dos semanas y ayer era que tenĂa que entregarlo. EmpecĂ© haciendo los bocetos de los dibujos que iba a ubicar en el papel bond.

After that I took out my paints and started mixing colors to paint each of the drawings, I had a lot of fun making the araguaney and I feel that the colors turned out very nice.
I got the brown color of the trunk by mixing green and red, if you want to get a more terracotta brown then a larger amount of red paint should be added.
Luego de eso saqué mis pinturas y empecé a mezclar colores para pintar cada uno de los dibujos, me divertà mucho haciendo el araguaney y siento que los colores quedaron muy lindos.
El color marrón del tronco lo conseguà mezclando verde y rojo, si quieres lograr un marrón más terracota entonces se debe agregar una mayor cantidad de pintura roja.

After having painted each one of the drawings I had done, it was time to highlight them with marker, it is a part that I really enjoy a lot because it is when the drawing looks better, or comes to life as I say hahahahahaha.
One of the drawings that I liked the most was the variety of ethnicities in my country, for that I wanted to make a white boy, an indigenous girl and a black girl. The colors of the costumes are not random, I painted their clothes in those colors to form the tricolor flag of my country Venezuela.
Luego de haber pintado cada uno de los dibujos que habĂa hecho, llegĂł la parte de remarcarlos con marcador, es una parte que realmente disfruto bastante porque es cuando el dibujo se ve mejor, o cobra vida como digo yo jajajajaja.
Uno de los dibujos que más me gustĂł realizar fueron lo de la variedad de etnias en mi paĂs, para eso quise hacer a un chico blanco, una chica indĂgena y una chica negra. Los colores de los vestuarios no son al azar, les pintĂ© la ropa de esos colores para formar la bandera tricolor de mi paĂs Venezuela.

I didn't want to do the three boys completely with paint, I wanted to color their skin with wood colors so I could do more details, shadows and shines. I don't know why, but for some reason I connected with these three characters, I feel that each one has a different and interesting personality, in the future I would like to draw them again.
A los tres chicos no los quise hacer por completo con pintura, quise colorearles la piel con colores de madera para asĂ poder hacer más detalles, sombras y brillos. No se porque, pero por alguna razĂłn conectĂ© con estos tres personajes, siento que cada uno tiene una personalidad distinta e interesante, en un futuro me gustarĂa dibujarlos de nuevo.

After finishing all the drawings, I cut them out, measured the space on the larger paper and with a blue marker I began to place all the information and put each thing in its place so that it would look harmonious.
Luego de haber terminado todos los dibujos lo que hice fue recortarlos, medà el espacio en el papel más grande y con un marcador azul empecé a colocar toda la información y fui colocando cada cosa en su lugar de manera de que quedara armónico.
I took an old sponge and chopped it into several pieces, you may be wondering, what's that for? Well, what I did was a mottled effect on the poster using the sponge pieces. More specifically I dipped the sponge pieces in the paints and added spots all over the poster respecting the spaces of the texts since they had to be read clearly.
AgarrĂ© una esponja vieja y la piquĂ© en varios pedazos, tal vez se pregunten ÂżY eso para quĂ©? Bueno, lo que hice fue un efecto moteado en el cartel usando los pedazos de esponja. Más especĂficamente sumergĂ los pedazos de esponja en las pinturas y fui añadiendo manchas por todo el cartel respetando los espacios de los textos ya que estos se tenĂan que leer claramente.

After making the stains of the colors of the Venezuelan flag I proceeded to glue each of the drawings I made. As I didn't have any glue I did it with adhesive tape and the truth is that I would have liked to do it with glue but as I didn't have any I decided to use adhesive tape.
And after gluing the drawings I erased some lines that were too many and this is how this map turned out.
Luego de haber hecho las manchas de los colores de la bandera de Venezuela procedĂ a pegar cada uno de los dibujos que hice. Como no tenĂa pega lo hice con cinta adhesiva y la verdad a mi me hubiera gustado hacerlo con pega pero como no tenĂa resolvĂ con la cinta adhesiva.
Y luego de pegar los dibujos borrĂ© algunas lĂneas que estaban de más y asĂ fue como quedĂł este mapa.

I fell in love with the final result, I loved it, my mom the first thing she asked me when she saw it was why didn't you capture the step by step so you can publish it on hive? with a disappointed face, she wanted everyone to be able to see my work of art hahaha, she thought I didn't take pictures but I did it from the beginning.
I received many compliments at my school for this work which made me feel very happy and accomplished. One of the compliments was from a classmate telling me that she loved the 3D effect hahahahahahaha, if she knew it was because she didn't have a job.
Anyway, I hope you liked this map that I made with a lot of love about the culture of Venezuela, I would have liked to add more things like the popular festivals, but I would not have so much space. Thank you very much for reading, see you later!

Me enamorĂ© de el resultado final, me encantĂł, mi mamá lo primero que me preguntĂł cuando lo vio fue ÂżPor quĂ© no capturaste el paso a paso para que lo publiques en hive? con una cara de decepciĂłn, ella querĂa que todos pudieran ver mi obra de arte jajaja, ella creyĂł que no habĂa tomado fotos pero lo hice desde un principio.
RecibĂ muchos cumplidos en mi colegio por este trabajo lo que me hizo sentirme muy contento y realizado. Uno de los cumplidos me lo dio una compañera diciĂ©ndome que le encantĂł el efecto 3D jajajajajaja, si supiera que es porque no tenĂa pega.
En fin, espero que les haya gustado este mapa que hice con mucho amor sobre la cultura de Venezuela, me hubiera gustado añadir más cosas como las fiestas populares, pero no iba a tener tanto espacio. Muchas gracias por leer, nos vemos luego!!
