A few days ago I started a new painting on canvas, but it has taken me time and while I wanted to show something here so as not to lose contact, I made this little sketch of the Koi fish.

Desde hace unos días comencé una nueva pintura en lienzo, pero me ha tomado tiempo y mientras quería mostrar algo por aquí para no perder el contacto y pues hice este pequeño boceto de los Peces koi.
Why koi fish?
When I introduced myself here at Hive, I was telling you about my inclination for Asian culture, especially that of Japan. Koi fish are nothing more than oriental carp, but according to Chinese and Japanese culture, they symbolize love and friendship.
¿Por qué Peces koi?
Al presentarme aquí en Hive les estuve contando sobre mi inclinación por la cultura asiática, en especial la de Japón. Los peces koi no son más que las carpas orientales, pero según la cultura china y japonesa, simbolizan el amor y la amistad.

I used this range of colors because it is the most common among the species and it is intense, it stands out with the flowers in the garden.
