En el dibujo del día de hoy les quiero compartir un nuevo personaje original, a quien decidí llamar Auron.
La idea para esta ilustración era crear un personaje que conceptualizara el mito urbano de los experimentos secretos realizados en ciudadanos comunes. Todo esto, inspirado en las historias de ciencia ficción y suspenso que narraban estos hechos, en la época de la segunda guerra mundial.
Para esta ilustración decidí buscar en Pinterest alguna fotografía con perspectiva inusual que me permitiese crear un pieza diferente. Así fue como encontré la foto de un modelo que me encantó, y decidí usar de referencia.
Sin mas que comentar, acá les dejo el "Paso a Paso" de el proceso de creación de Auron. Espero de corazón les guste tanto como a mi.
In today's drawing I want to share with you a new original character, whom I decided to call Auron.
The idea for this illustration was to create a character that conceptualizes the urban myth of secret experiments performed on ordinary citizens. All this, inspired by the science fiction and suspense stories that narrated these facts, at the time of the second world war.
For this illustration I decided to search on Pinterest for a photograph with an unusual perspective that would allow me to create a different piece. That's how I found a photo of a model that I loved, and decided to use as a reference.
Without further comment, here is the "Step by Step" of the creation process of Auron. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Step by Step
Primero, comencé ilustrando un boceto rústico del personaje, respetando la pose de la referencia del modelo.
First, I began by illustrating a rough sketch of the character, respecting the pose of the model reference.
Luego, realicé un boceto mas definido. Agregué su ropa, cabello y expresión. Quería que transmitiera rabia, y que en su frente y palma de la mano se mostrácen los experimentos que hicieron en el.
Then, I made a more defined sketch. I added her clothes, hair and expression. I wanted him to convey anger, and I wanted his forehead and palm to show the experiments they did on him.
Tras haber definido el boceto inicial, decidí realizar el Line Art final. Pulí el diseño y agregué detalles en nuestro protagonista, enfatizando los pliegues de la ropa, venas y líneas en general.
After defining the initial sketch, I decided to make the final line art. I polished the design and added details in our protagonist, emphasizing the folds of the clothes, veins and lines in general.
Tras esto, continué con el coloreado. Quería que la cámara se encontrara en el suelo, y la iluminación viniese desde el cielo detrás de él, por lo que necesitaba realizar muchas sombras en el protagonista.
After that, I continued with the coloring. I wanted the camera to be on the ground, and the lighting to come from the sky behind him, so I needed to make a lot of shadows on the main character.
Al finalizar el coloreado del protagonista, decidí continuar con el coloreado del fondo. Quería mantener el cielo de color blanco y representar, en manchas de color morado, una especie de bosque.
When I finished coloring the main character, I decided to continue coloring the background. I wanted to keep the sky white and represent, in purple spots, a kind of forest.
Tras esto, agregué mi firma en la esquina derecha y di por finalizado la ilustración.
After that, I added my signature in the right corner and finished the illustration.
Este fue el proceso de mi nuevo dibujo "El Experimento Número 11", y la verdad amé el resultado final. Me encanta el diseño y la perspectiva alocada, me gusta el concepto y el personaje en sí mismo, considero que es alguien interesante al que espero volver a dibujar. ¡Un gran saludo y recuerden beber mucha agua!
This was the process of my new drawing "The Number 11 Experiment", and I really loved the final result.
