I made a new digital portrait painting today. The portrait is of sad girl with eyes that looks like she is about to cry.
I have drawn a girl from behind who seemed sad and now i made on where you can see the face. I was listening to a sad music(only instrumental) on youtube while painting it so the vibe went perfectly with the drawing.
I didn't do any sketching of the drawing before moving on to coloring phase. i simply started with blocks of colors, shapes that looks like part of the face and then went with the flow.
This way certainly has some advantage when drawing, It was relaxing drawing process where i wasn't thinking about sharing it with anyone. so didn't have to worry about how it looked
The color blue conveys the feeling of sadness and redness on the face shows that she might have been crying which goes perfectly with the whole drawing.
