I am very happy to announce that my first collection of NFT is available on OpenSea! You can see it here: https://opensea.io/coloringiship . OpenSea is the second NFT marketplace I signed up to after NFT Showroom. But I haven't put up anything on NFT Showroom because I am still sifting through my art, there are hundreds of it, and choose the best ones to feature. I am very new to tokenized art, I read about it since 2019 but am not quite sure about it. I mean, there is always that risk of your art being stolen and also the question of why should people buy my art if they can always screenshot it? These are valid questions and I am still reading and learning about them. I think cryptocurrency and blockchain technology has opened vast opportunities not just for artists but all creators to commercialize their creations. The industry is still in its infancy and the craze is not going to abate soon. Will this trend stay? I think it will evolve to more things. I don't know how but I am sure we are still figuring it out and as time goes by we will discover new things, the bad and the good of the industry. Anyway, I am just happy to embark on this journey. I don't expect to make sales anytime soon (it would be nice if I do) but I got to start somewhere ;).
What Is Stencil 2017?

Stencil 2017 is a series of 10 mixed-media stencil paintings I painted in 2017. I posted about them all on Steemit way back in 2017. In fact, one of the paintings, the cat stencil, was exhibited at Art At Steemfest 2017, in Lisbon Portugal. I felt so honored to be among the artists included in that exhibition. You can still search about it here on Hive.
And here are the rest of the paintings included in the collection.
I used mixed media - acrylic paint, markers, colored pencils, watercolors, and watercolor papers. All paintings were digitally cleaned and enhanced. Do check my collection and spread the word if you don't mind =)
