Hi everyone
My name is Daniel Ashien. I hail from ika local government area, Delta state,Nigeria. I Graduated from secondary school 2023 that is two years ago and I am looking forward to further my education
toUniversity to study computer science.
Currently I work in a primary school in Lagos as a teacher, and to be be honest it has not been easycauseas a a teacher you have to deal with people with different mindset and backgrounds.
And what makes it more challenging is that students nowadays goes to school to pass time, some even take it as an everyday job given to them by their parents. If a child have this type of thinking he/she would loose the interest of wanting to student or learn. So our first job as teachers is to make those students understand the importance of Education and why it is necessary in our current society. If they understand this it will be easier to pass out other knowledge to them . Though some time it's really frustrating but with supportive friends and family I don't always feel the pressure.
After my first degree and masters in computer science I plan on getting a second degree in Architecture and also go deeper in other field of science so as to contribute to the growth of the society and to the world at large.
In my leisure time I play the piano,draw and also read books.I started playing the piano in 2019, when I started It was pretty hard for me because I neglected the basics I just wanted to play not that I wasn't taught but then I didn't take it seriously. But when I understood those things I neglected, playing the piano became easier for me and I also believe that with constant practice I will be able to play perfectly. And I also pass time with drawing. What made to like drawing is because it helps boost creativity, it help people to think out of the box, it also enhances memory, concentration span and equips you with problem solving skills.
I got you know about this platform through my friends who make portraits, still life drawing and also writing of poems. They have been posting on this platform for many years now.
They introduced me to platform some years back but why I hesitated was because I didn't have the time and I was very busy. Why I want to join now is because the work load on my shoulders has reduced a little and I believe I can make time to be posting regularly. The people who introduced me are @ezunjoshy and @ezuntimmy.
HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS PLATFORM
This platform is the best in the sense that it adds to the standard of one's living and also help in personal development.
To begin with with it helps me read more books and also to do more research and write up introducing me to new things. It helps me improve my skills and also improve my vocabulary while doing write up for my drawing.
MY GOAL ON THIS PLATFORM
My aim on this platform is not just to get money. I wish to Improve my skills in drawing, gain more votes and more experience so as to be able to bring more people to the community. And most especially interact with people of different ethnicity, culture and language.and also learn new things.
