Hi! I was looking for ways to make a drawing again. I realized that I like the way some of the portraits I do of other people in pencil look on me.
So I went through my contacts, and found my friend Rosangela, who had a very interesting profile picture. So I thought maybe I could draw it, and I started to do it.
I made quite a few changes, because it was especially difficult for me the position in which she had taken the picture, so I drew her more vertically to be able to do the calculations.
I had a particularly difficult time calculating the nose and lip area, as my friend has very prominent lips and in the photo she was wearing make-up as well, which changed her natural features a bit.
Since the photo didn't show her hair, it was just her face, so I had to imagine what it would look like at that moment, and I ended up leaving it short.
I especially liked how the eyes turned out, it looks to me like there's some sparkle in it, like they're looking at me. Anyway, thanks for reading and watching, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. ❤️
