I took the initiative to participate in this creative community because I also like drawing very much, I like challenges and seeing so many just talents motivated me to give my all just like all of you.
Showing the drawings to my son, he said to me; mommy I want you to make me an eagle, to which I remained thoughtful for a moment and said why not!... I felt that it was another challenge, since I had never drawn an eagle.
I really like drawings with that realistic touch or I would say @frankches realism or semi realism, I was #intrigued 👀. I started looking for my drawing reference and I came across this beautiful image on Pinterest.

¿Que tal gente hermosa?
He estado echando un ojo a esta hermosa comunidad, y la verdad me parece que aquí hay mucho talento, tanto que me dio miedo participar, son muy talentosos chicos, felicidades.
Tomé la iniciativa de participar en esta creativa comunidad porque también me gusta mucho dibujar, me gustan los retos y al ver tantos talentos justos me motivé a dar el todo por el todo al igual que todos ustedes.
Mostrándole los dibujos a mi hijo, él me dice; mami quiero que me hagas un águila, a lo que me quedé pensativa por un momento y dije porque no!... sentí que era un reto mas, ya que nunca habia dibujado un águila.
Me gusta mucho los dibujos con ese toque realista o diría @frankches realismo o semi realismo, estaba #intrigado 👀. Empecé a buscar mi referencia de dibujo y me encontré con esta hermosa imagen en Pinterest.

¿Díganme si no está hermosa esta espectacular águila? Al principio la veía muy complicada de realizar, me tomé unos cuantos días enfocándome en dibujarla hasta que por fin ayer me decidí hacerla.

I would like to start with the following description.
For the realization of this drawing I am going to use the following materials.
- Kores graphite pencil #.2-HB
- Graphite pencil prism brand color #.6B

Quisiera comenzar con la siguiente descripción.
Para la realización de este dibujo voy a utilizar los siguientes materiales.

°1 Hoja blanca tamaño carta
I started drawing his head making a geometric shape of an oval, followed by his beak, nose and eye, using the 2HB pencil, since that number of graphite is a light tone and easy to erase in case of any mistake in the lines.
As we can observe I began to give depth to his eye, coloring his pupil with the pencil 6B, this graphite is a very dark tone and gives those details of a very clean finish.

Comencé dibujando su cabeza haciendo una forma geométrica de un óvalo, seguido de su pico, foza nasal y ojo, utilizando el lápiz 2HB, ya que ese número de grafito es un tono claro y facil de borrar por si sucede algun error en las líneas.
Cómo podemos observar comencé a darle profundidad a su ojo, coloreando su pupila con el lápiz 6B, este grafito si es un tono muy oscuro y da esos detalles de un acabo muy limpio.

We continue to shape our eagle.
I really like to give names to my drawings, I still can't think of the perfect name. But as I give them descriptions I will come up with the right name.
Let's keep going! One of the defining characteristics of an eagle are their eyes, they have piercing, intimidating, steady eyes. They have excellent vision, much better than that of a human being.
I am a Christian, and in the bible the eagle means divine power, since it has the ability to see things (problems, obstacles or adversities) from the heights, that place is its comfort zone.
I consider that of the physical features of any drawing the most important are the eyes, since they define the mood of the character. That's why I always focus on drawing his face first and highlighting his eyes, giving him those important details of his features.
On his beak we use the 6B pencil to give him that dark tone and we blur to give him that dark light touch and enhance his nostrils.
Next, I continue shaping the white plumage of his head using the two pencils to give it depth and firmness.

Continuamos dándole forma a nuestra águila.
Me gusta mucho darle nombres a mis dibujos, todavía no se me ocurre el nombre perfecto. Pero a medida que les doy las descripciones se me ocurrirá el nombre adecuado.
Seguimos! Una de las característica que define a un águila son sus ojos, tienen ojos penetrantes, intimidantes, firmes. Tienen una visión exelente, muchísima mejor que la del ser humano.
Yo soy cristiana, y en la biblia el águila significa poder divino, ya que ella tiene esa capacidad de ver las cosas (problemas, obstáculos o adversidades) desde las alturas, ese lugar es su zona de confort.
Considero que de los rasgos físicos de cualquier dibujo el más importante son los ojos, ya que ellos definen el estado de animo del personaje. Por ello siempre me enfoco realizando primero su cara y realzando sus ojos, dándole esos detalles importantes de sus facciones.
En su pico utilizamos el lápiz 6B para darle ese tono oscuro y difuminamos para darle ese toque claro oscuro y realzamos sus fosas nasales.
Seguido, continuo dándole forma al plumaje blanco de su cabeza utilizando los dos lápices para darle profundidad y firmeza.
Así va quedando...

It should be noted that I didn't take any course to improve my drawing techniques. I've been drawing since I was about 8 years old, lately I've been attracted to realistic drawings, and I've only watched tutorials on Youtube to get some ideas on how to give that realistic approach.

Cabe destacar que no hice ningún curso para mejorar las técnicas del dibujo. Estoy dibujando desde los 8 años aproximadamente, últimamente me ha estado llamando mucho la atención los dibujos realistas, y solo he visto tutoriales en Youtube para tener algunas ideas de como darle ese enfoque de realismo.
Ya nuestra águila está casi terminada.

To give him the details of the plumage of his chest and wings was a little complicated since this part is very dark, I had to use an eraser pencil or white gel pen, a tool that I have been looking to buy and still can not get it, so I grabbed an eraser and cut a piece with a very thin tip and began to shape the plumage, trying to give light or brightness to see the difference of a wing and another.

Para darle los detalles del plumaje de su pecho y alas se me complicó un poco ya que esta parte es muy oscura, tenía que utilizar un lápiz borrador o lápiz gel blanco, herramienta que la he estado buscando para comprar y aun no la consigo, así que agarré un borrador y mandé a cortar un pedazo con una punta muy delgada y comencé a darle forma al plumaje, tratando de darle luz o brillo para que se viera la diferencia de un ala y otra.
This is how our eagle turned out, I put the dark background to give it that personal touch. I will name it Isaiah, a biblical name. In the bible, in the book of Isaiah, it refers to the eagle when it renews its strength.
My son was very fascinated when he saw it. He was satisfied.

Así quedó nuestra águila, le coloque el fondo oscuro para darle ese toque personal. Le pondré por nombre Isaías, un nombre bíblico. En la biblia, en el libro de Isaías hace referencia al águila cuando renueva sus fuerzas.
Mi hijo cuando la vió le fascinó mucho. Quedó satisfecho.
