I will continue to create and present my images inspired by Hundertwasser! I just love it! This time I painted it on black paper, which was a lot more work than it looks. Much more paint should be applied to the black paper, and the dark colors (ultramarine blue, dark purple) appear concentrated on the black paper. Here comes the white watercolor chalk with which I base the surface and then carefully apply the colors. I have to be careful because the brush picks up the colors easily.
I worked on this little painting for half a day, but it was worth it to me, i'm very satisfied and happy with the result. At the end, the mosaics drawn with a white gel pen are the addition.
Here is the step-by-step process:
Sketch with watercolor chalk.
Shading with white watercolor chalk.
Cerulean blue watercolor at the edges.
Filling with cerulean blue and ultramarin blue.
Some violet and green around the windows, ultramarine window frames (just this step took more than one hour), yellow windows inside and English red keystones .
More yellow and golden ocher, framing with white chalk around.
The last step: drawing the mosaics with white gel pen.
