Hello all,
This time I will tell about my new graphic tablet. As you can read in my previous post (First try) I started drawing on a 12 year old drawing tablet. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. My hubby saw the smile on my face and a few days later he told me to buy a new one. So much has changed in more than a decade. On the other hand, living in 2 countries is nice, but it's always a hassle to take the things you need from one place to the other. If I would take a new one to Spain, where I live most of the time, the old one could stay in Belgium and he could also experiment with that one.
After doing some research I ended up with the Wacom Intuos Medium Bluetooth model. The price of the Pro version was a bit too high for me and as I'm a newbie I'm sure I can use the normal version for quite some years!
There's not much in the box, just the tablet, a cable for charging and the pen of course.
I like the pen a lot as it it thicker than a normal pencil. I'm struggling with thin pencils and prefer the thicker ones. So this is a perfect fit! Inside the pen are three felt and flex nibs. I still need to try them out!
At the back side of the box you can read that the tablet comes with some software. You can easily download them after registering the tablet at the Wacom website. Some of the software is free, others are a X-day free trail. I tried 3 different ones and it took quite a lot of time to figure out witch one I liked. Clip Studio Paint Pro might be a good one, but for the moment I stick with MediBang Pro, a program I discovered thanks to @ezunjoshy
So now I can have some fun with my new gadget. Still so much to learn and to try! At the moment I'm creating little drawing with Mo. It's a start 😉
