The next prompt is "a group of friends having a picnic" and I was already not liking the idea cos of many human subjects for a sketch so I procrastinated for a day. XD I found this photo on Unsplash as a reference.
I wanted to have a "rough sketch" type of feels so I was just letting my pencil do the marks without using my eraser that much. It went quite smoothly as I also liked the composition of the photo.
I was originally thinking of using pencils-only but then my mind changed so I used ink pen after. This is where the problem began lol, it didn't have the "rough sketch" vibe now and I got lazy using a thicker pen so it looked messy. I also erased the pencil marks but it also made the paper messy as you can see there were smudges from the ink. The sketch pad I'm using is for pencils so I guess it didn't let the ink dry properly despite it being there for minutes.
I wasn't satisfied so I started using @acidyo's Copic markers lol.
Luckily there wasn't any bleeding on the paper and it was nice to write on despite the paper being made for sketching. It turned out quite nice and should look nicer if I spent more time on it. :P Copic markers are awesome.
