Hello everyone, I hope you are well, today I managed to finish making a drawing of a god of Japanese mythology called Tsukuyomi, is the god of the moon in the Shinto religion. The name Tsukuyomi is a combination of ancient Japanese words being Tsuku (月, "moon, month") and Yomi (読み, "read, count").
For the realization of this drawing I took as a reference this image, but adding several details to a different style and I only made the face, in comparison that it is a full body image.
Hola a todos, espero se encuentren bien, el dia de hoy logre culminar de hacer un dibujo de un dios de la mitologia japonesa que se llama Tsukuyomi, es el dios de la luna en la religión sintoísta. El nombre Tsukuyomi es una combinación de palabras japonesas antiguas siendo Tsuku (月, "luna, mes") y Yomi (読み, "leer, contar").
Para la realización de este dibujo tome como referencia esta imagen, pero agregándole varios detalles a un estilo diferente y nada mas le hice el rostro, a comparación que es una imagen de cuerpo completo.
Process
- From the beginning of this drawing I made several sketches that I then passed to digital and I wanted to make a digital sketch, making the shape of the character's face and adding several characteristics of this character.
- Desde el comienzo de este dibujo hice varios sketch que luego pase a digital y le quise hacer un boceto de manera digital, haciendo la forma del rostro del personaje y agregandole varias caracteristas de este personaje.
- As always in the coloring part I'm adding a background to each of the elements that make up the face of this character and then adding various details to each of the elements such as hair, face and part of the clothing.
- Como siempre en la parte del coloreado le voy agregando un fondo a cada uno de los elementos que conforma el rostro de este personaje para luego ir agregándole varios detalles a cada uno de los elementos como en el cabello, el rostro y una parte de la vestimenta.
- Having the base color on the face I continued with applying shadows on the neck, as the character I'm doing is with various shades of gray I was adding details to the shape of the face to get the desired result following with the hair in which I used lighter shades of gray making a great mane and for the clothes a grayish blue color.
- Teniendo el color base en el rostro segui con ir aplicando sombras en el cuello, como el personaje que estoy realizando es con varios tonos de grises le fui agregando detalles a la forma del rostro hasta conseguir el resultrado deseado siguiendo con el cabello en la cual utilice tonos de grises mas claros haciendole una gran melena y para la vestimenta un color azul grisaseo.
- Finally I made a background according to this character since he is a god of the moon I had to add this element in the background and I made some blue sparkles.
- De ultimo le hice un fondo de acuerdo a este personaje ya que es un dios de la luna tenia que agregarle este elemento en el fondo y le hice unos destellos de color azul.
