Drew this all by myself using Ibispaint X, a Samsung Galaxy S8+ tablet and a digital pen.
I could have made the background brighter, but I didn't want it to stand out, I could've made it darker, but then the lighting passing through the windows wouldn't really make sense.
Process..
I first wanted the Kiara to have this pose, but when I draw it this way my anatomy doesn't look very good..
So I decided to draw it this way..
After enhancing her shoulders I sketched her a dress for Kiara to put on..
Now I'm sketching her hair...
After completing my sketch and was sure that everything's complete, I made the sketch a bit transparent like and traced it..
Almost done with the line art!..
Done..
After that, I started to fill it in with the base color...
In here, after doing the base color, I tried to figure out the background, I first didn't like this one..
That's when a background like this occurred to me, so I drew it and here it is..
I painted the background with a cream color and grey as the background was just concept, I left it like that while I enhanced Kiara...
Then shadows for the windows occurred to me...
I started to paint the background softly, I first thought of painting it brown, but it just didn't feel right, so I first made it like a bit pink-ish..
Result...
I finally made her stand out more, and made the background match her a bit, if you look closely, my signature is on the floor to her left..
