I don't know you, but everytime I let nature (like trees, trees, and more trees..) get involved in my drawings the art ends up looking better🤷‍♀.

Process..

The first thing I did were the eyes, for me though, it's still complicated to draw eyes..

I already had the backgroung in mind unlike my older projects, so I scribbled the empty forest first to give me an idea for the character's pose later on..

Shoulders..

Right now Bard looks like some big eyed asian girl who just finished doing a morning jog in the middle of nowhere and is playing her intrument..

Wow, after decades I finally got to draw hands properly (lol), it actually get easier when you break it down to 3 balls and 3 long ovals..

Me really liking the blue light sky more than the actual character..

Result..

After enhancing the grass and trees, and adding more shadow to Bard (because that the trees shade) I'm finally done..
