I never thought it would be this fast, the learning process. Looking at artworks from the best people really inspired me and I finally learnt how to smudge without blurring out the details. It was quite enthralling to do albeit, time consuming. For my three previous tries, I spent less than 30 mins on the skin but for this, I spent about 3 hours +. Actually it was due to the mistakes I was making and then at one point, sketchbook reset my progress.. It was quite frustrating
This is my dream skin although I still hope to make it better. But it is near perfect for me. The eye was a tad bit challenging too but the part I found extremely difficult was the hair. Her hair is so complicated. I left Autodesk for infinite design, made futile attempts at stroking the hair with the tapered brush, came back to Autodesk, ran back to design, before I finally settled for Autodesk. I used about 7 layers for the hair. I still haven't figured how to do it easily and I really have to draw a plan for my hair. A plan I can follow at all times without getting lost
So this is a model which I got here . The picture seemed like the perfect way to practise my skin and yes it is..
