Entering the Halloween month, I am excited to start a new drawing challenge called 'Drawlloween'. This one has to do with monsters, zombies and terrifying creatures - they are among the things I love to draw.
@offgridlife started earlier and I couldn't join because of #inktober challenge on hand. So now I am done with inktober I am switching to this challenge and hopefully, I will complete the days just like I did with inktober.
The theme for day 2 happens to start with letter 'D' which is Devil. The devil is believed to be a manifestation of evil and its perspective varies in different cultures.
But how does the devil actually looks? Does he really has horns and eyes? Are snakes attached to him? Is the devil actually a male or a female or something else outside a being? I think everyone culture has their own way of viewing or defining the devil. Whatever the case may be, it is what it is - those are merely believes.
Here is the version of devil I drew which I found here. He has two horns with red blank eyes that could see from the inside. Those teeth of his are quite different from that of humans or any other creature.
The drawing was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper and I used cross hatching technique to create this piece. My steps are below:
