Hola HIVE 🖖🏼😁 espero que todos se encuentren muy bien haciendo alguna actividad creativa 🎨🖌️.
Last week at the university of arts we prepared to receive a drawing class with a nude model ✏️, for me it was the first time that I was going to draw a model, usually drawing from images or photographs; I thought this would be a very interesting experience, since I'm not used to drawing on an easel or standing up, in this activity I was totally out of my comfort zone, that's why I loved taking on this challenge 💪🏼.
La semana pasada en la universidad de artes nos preparamos para recibir una clase de dibujo con modelo desnudo ✏️, para mí era la primera vez que iba a dibujar un modelo, normalmente dibujo de imágenes o fotografías; esta me pareció que sería una experiencia muy interesante, ya que no acostumbro a dibujar ni en caballete, ni de pié, en esta actividad estaba totalmente fuera de mi zona de confort por eso me encanto asumir este reto 💪🏼.
With adhesive tape, fix several white sheets to the easel in order to avoid wasting time changing sheets, since the model will be changing poses from time to time.
Con cinta adhesiva fije al caballete varías hojas blancas para así evitar estar perdiendo tiempo cambiando de hoja, ya que la modelo estará cambiando de pose cada cierto tiempo.
As I said before, this is the first time that I draw standing up and on an easel, so in my strokes you can see that at first it was difficult for me to adapt to that working position, but little by little I got used to the stroke and began to make lines with more security 😁 and the exercise also tried to make sketches with both hands 💪🏼.
Como dije antes esta es la primera vez que dibujo de pié y en caballete, por eso en mis trazos se puede notar que al principio me costó adaptarme a esa posición de trabajo, pero poco a poco fuí acostumbrando el trazo y comencé a realizar lineas con mas seguridad 😁 y el ejercicio trataba también de hacer bocetos con las dos manos 💪🏼.
Then the teacher told us that we had to select one of those sketches and then make an improved drawing of that same sketch, something more realistic and applying all the knowledge that we have been learning in this analytical drawing class; I selected the last sketch that I made that I consider to be the best of the 4 that I did.
Luego el profesor nos indico que teníamos que seleccionar uno de esos bocetos y luego realizar un dibujo mejorado de ese mismo boceto, algo mas realista y aplicando todos los conocimientos que hemos estado aprendiendo en esta clase de dibujo analítico; yo seleccioné el ultimo boceto que realice que considero es el que mejor quedo de los 4 que hice.
This experience was very enriching 💪🏼, having the opportunity to draw a nude model is something very fascinating, also thanks to these exercises I was able to learn more about my weaknesses in drawing, such as the time it takes me to draw, I have to speed up my hand more; I love studying arts and little by little I will continue advancing in my artistic career 🖌️ strengthening my skills and reducing weaknesses 💪🏼😁. Esta experiencia resulto muy enriquecedora 💪🏼, tener la oportunidad de dibujar un modelo desnudo es algo muy fascinante, también gracias a estos ejercicios pude conocer mas de mis debilidades en el dibujo, como el tiempo que me toma dibujar, tengo que agilizar mas la mano; me encanta estudiar artes y poco a poco seguiré avanzando en mi carrera artística 🖌️ fortaleciendo mis habilidades y disminuyendo las debilidades 💪🏼😁.
