Greetings dear readers, I hope you are very well.
Lately, I've been feeling a bit stagnant in hive.
I think I need to approach things from a different angle and give my blog a new look.
But where do we start... I know! Let's do a new signature and what better way than to add a new caricature of me.
the last time i did one i had the tool sai program and an old tablet i think this version should look a lot better not to mention everything i have learned so far.
it was a very entertaining process, so I wanted to share it with you.

Saludos apreciados lectores, espero estén muy bien.
Últimamente, me he sentido algo estancado en hive.
Creo que debo enfocar las cosas desde otro ángulo y darle un aire nuevo a mi blog.
pero bien por donde empezamos... ya se! Hagamos una firma nueva y que mejor forma que agregar una nueva caricatura de mi.
la última vez que hice una tenía el programa tool sai y una vieja tableta creo que esta versión debería quedar mucho mejor sin mencionar todo lo aprendido hasta ahora.
fue muy entretenido el proceso, así que quise compartirlo con ustedes.

Reference
As a reference I will use this photo of me, where I go out with my friend chester "if he is my toy crocodile", I just want to use the pose and the most outstanding features, so that the caricature is not just a copy of the photo.
Como referencia usaré esta foto mia, donde salgo con mi amigo chester "si es mi cocodrilo juguete", solo quiero usar la pose y rasgos más resaltantes, para que la caricatura no sea solo una copia de la foto.
One of the issues I am considering is to change the way I present the step by step. I am still thinking about what would be the most effective and quickest way for me until then we continue with the usual way.
Una de las cuestiones que me estoy planteando es cambiar la forma en las que les presento el paso a paso. aun estoy pensando en cuál sería la forma mas efectiva y rapida para mi hasta ese entonces continuamos con la forma de siempre.
We started with the basic sketch, it was several attempts, that pose of the head gave me some problems in the first versions, I felt it looked very strange.
Iniciamos con el boceto básico fueron varios intentos, esa pose de la cabeza me dio algo de problemas en las primeras versiones siento que se veia muy raro.
Once the sketch is finished, in a new layer we make the lineart, basically it is to move the drawing to a clean plane, my first idea was to make a drawing without visible lines but I ended up choosing this style.
Una vez terminado el boceto, en una capa nueva hacemos el lineart, básicamente es pasar el dibujo a un plano limpio, mi primera idea fue hacer un dibujo sin lineas visibles pero terminé eligiendo este estilo.
Well, time to apply all the base colors. The skin palette used was at my discretion, as in the reference photo has a filter, I also want to emphasize that I will try to copy as little as possible to the photo and focus more on an original caricature.
Bien, momento de aplicar Todos los colores base. la paleta de piel usada fue a mi criterio, ya que en la referencia la foto tiene un filtro, también quiero destacar que tratare de copiar lo menos posible a la foto y centrarme mas en una caricatura original.
I chose a different outfit, as a fun fact I have those clothes in real life hehe.
Elegí una ropa diferente, como dato curioso tengo esa ropa en la vida real jeje
A small detail that is part of me, I have this small scar since I was 4 years old, one night I was playing in the living room of my house with my cousins and I hit my face with the coffee table, in the clinic they put 2 stitches, now that I remember the truth did not hurt when I cut me or when they sutured me. to tell the truth I can not imagine my face without this scar.
Un pequeño detalle que forma parte de mí, esta pequeña cicatriz la tengo desde los 4 años, una noche estaba jugando en la sala de mi casa junto a mis primos y me golpee la cara con la mesa para cafe, en la clínica me pusieron 2 puntos, ahora que recuerdo la verdad no me dolió ni cuando me corte ni cuando me suturaron. a decir verdad no imagino mi rostro sin esta cicatriz.
When applying the highlights and shadows, I did everything on the same layer and activated the lock function so I avoid the colors to get out of place and get a good blending of the colors.
Momento de aplicar las luces y sombras, todo lo hice sobre la misma capa y activé la función de bloquear asi evito que los colores se salgan de su lugar y consigo un buen mezclado del mismo.
Blur but not completely, I think that leaving certain brushstrokes visible gives an artistic touch to paintings and drawings.
Difumínanos pero no del todo, creo que dejar visibles ciertas pinceladas le dan un toque artistico a las pinturas y dibujos.
We add details such as beard shadow
Agregamos detalles como la sombra de barba
In the clothes we do a similar process, we add the dark and light colors, and then blur, leaving some solid colors in some areas.
En la ropa hacemos un proceso similar, agregamos los colores oscuros y claros, para luego difuminar, eso si dejando en algunas zonas colores solidos.
We continue adding details, the truth is I don't have an order whenever I see something that requires attention I do it, the eyes where dark brown are lighter if seen in the light.
Seguimos agregando detalles, la verdad no tengo un orden siempre que veo algo que requiera atención lo hago, los ojos donde color cafe oscuro son mas claros si se ven en la luz.
