Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all!
It's a sunny day here, the Sun is shining on the sky and we can breath a little springtime air all around.
This morning, like I use to do every day included the Sunday, I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors during the first hours of the day. Yesterday, in the late afternoon, I exercised my hands doing little things in Papier-mâché (I have to improve my skills on it!) and this morning those things were dry enough to be painted.
At first, I made a simple box and I added a vase with plants (in paper) inside of it. At first, I tried to paint the Papier-mâché box in light blue and in the following pics, you can see the final result:
After, I painted it in dark blue to see how it could work:
The result is not so bad, but I'm not satisfied and so I'll work to improve my skills in this tecniques more and more (just to know, it's funny for me). 😊
To make the box I used paper napkins and I made the glue by myself with 1 cup of flour and 8 cups of water (mixed and boiled for few minutes).
To paint the different parts I used acrylic colors and oil colors and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting them so you can see the process too:
