Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! Yesterday I had a very special Sunday, because some friends of us from Bologna came into my city to visit an art exhibition I visited a couple of months ago and to visit for the first time our lab home. They came here also for a special "adventure": to place some poems in different corners of the city. In Italy we call this kind of action "poesia errante", maybe it can be translate as "wandering poetry", but I'm not sure. My friend is a "wandering poet" and since some years he print her short poems and place them in different places like on the trash can, on the poles, etc He uses to place them just with no damages for the things (using the cable ties so it's simple to take them away) and his poems seems to invite people to think about life. Soon I'll tell you more about it and I'll share the pics I took, stay tuned.
Today, even if the sky is full of clouds, it's another hot hot day here, but, as usual,this morning I woke up soon to work on a new (small) artwork during the first hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
As you can see, it's a tiny painting about a girl with a red dress and a tiny house on her head.
It's a mixed media ( oil colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (the size of a common postal card) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
