Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! I hope you are spending a nice weekend!
Here is a sunny hot day, my lovely furry friends Nanny (the mom) and Bimba (her little one) now are sleeping on the roof close to my feet and my hubby is working on a new watercolor in the lab room. The home looks so quiet, but, at the same time, my mind is full of new ideas I want to try to make about my work on art!
I'm continuing to "refresh" my shop on line after the Artfinder team decided to grow up the minimum prices. I'm creating set of 3 oils on paper from the ones I painted before and, in the meantime, I'm experimenting myself in different tecniques like the linocuts.
To years ago I created a lino stamp to make some small simple artworks as a gift for my customer and, while I'm thinking to improve my skills on this kind of printmaking, this morning I made the following one:
It's a very simple (and fast) piece I made just to see how this subject can work and it's a mixed media piece because I used the lino stamp I created 2 years ago, a rubber stamp in form of cloud I created many years ago (the same one I use also on some of my paintings) and some touches of oil colors for the hair and to paint the leaves.
As usual, I took some pics while I was working on it so you can see some steps of the work in progress:
To be honest, I'm not so satisfied by the result and so I'll work again and again on this kind of idea.
