Have a nice day! Today I will share with you my new pictures for kindergarten, which I recently started at the request of one of my familiar teachers...
This time I wanted to depict ducks, and not just ordinary gray lake ducks, but mandarin ducks.
It is known that mandarin ducks are the brightest representatives of forest waterfowl, representing the duck family. Back in 1758, Carl Linnaeus first described this bird and gave it this scientific name "Aix galericulata".
These birds are noticeably different from similar species due to their rather colorful plumage of drakes, For comparison I drew this cute duck next to the drake :-)
In general, the ancestors of modern ducks appeared on our planet about 50 million years ago. They represented one of the branches of the palamedae, and their appearance is associated with the southern hemisphere, and their habitat is located in the territories of Southeast Asia. Although their related species are still found in Australia and America.
And the very name of the ducks "mandarins" appeared thanks to the Chinese nobles, who were called mandarins. Their name is due to the fact that officials from the Middle Kingdom had quite colorful outfits to stand out noticeably in society. The same colorful outfit, reminiscent of the grandees from Ancient China, has a male tree duck. Compared to males, females have more modest and not so bright plumage.
Of course, I didn't take one picture, so I immediately drew this cute family of penguins to someone.
It's great when children are waiting for your gifts, and my pictures have really become real gifts for them :-) They even compete with each other for the right to choose one or another image. But from this I have a lot of responsibility and doubts. Will the kids like my new picture? So I started writing this story from ice floes and icebergs.
Then I wanted to draw not just penguins, but their whole friendly family. You remember that I accompany each image with a legend or a fairy tale of my own composition. This time there was a story about an offended little penguin Fiki, who was jealous of his sister for her mother and ran away to the most remote iceberg. Which was very reckless and dangerous.
There he met a polar bear on an ice floe, which he was very scared of and decided to return to his parents anyway :-)
The kids even liked this story, they asked a lot of questions and asked for the continuation of the fairy tale.
And while baby Fiki was wandering, Dad managed to catch the whole family a delicious fish and was waiting for him for breakfast.
Penguins love to eat fish, and of course they dive and swim a lot and are not afraid of the cold. In kindergarten, kids are just accustomed to water procedures and hardening. Now when they wash with cold water, they will definitely remember about my naughty Fiki :-)
Of course I didn't tell you the whole story, it took me 15 minutes. I'd rather show you my drawings. Yes, I forgot to say we are also studying the alphabet at the same time. And each new picture is dedicated to a certain letter of our alphabet.
So, as you probably already guessed, what new letters have we already learned?
Well, in the end, I brought these photos to the kids so that they would know that today they can already print out any of their drawings and make similar postcards and even gif images from them.

So if you draw as well as I do, do not be discouraged! Each of us has a chance to develop today. Of course, I haven't opened an exhibition of my paintings yet, but many people in our area are already greeting me :-)
And when the kids see them, they order their favorite cartoon characters, whom I have never even seen. Cinema has changed a lot in 20 years. And if in our youth we watched cartoons about crocodile Gena and Cheburashka, now children are watching who knows what :-)
I definitely won't draw such a character yet :-)
