Hello everyone it's another awesome Friday ☺️. Am somsome17 and today I'll be drawing the "Tooth and it's supporting tissues. I used pencil, red pen and blue pen for the drawing.
The tooth is part of the teeth in your mouth. And it is part of the digestive system. They break down foods by crushing or cutting them before swallowing. Most humans have 32 teeth, although some have more and some have fewer. The supporting tissues of a tooth are the Enamel,Gingiva, pulp chamber, dentin, alveolar bone, root canal, cementum, periodontal ligament and nerves and blood vessels.
The Enamel is the hard outer covering of a tooth. I used pencil for the skeleton.
Gingiva(gum's) is the soft tissues that help support the tooth.
Pulp chamber is a space inside the tooth for the nerve and blood vessels.
Dentin is hard tissue located beneath the Enamel.
Alveolar bone (jawbone) is the bone that supports the tooth.
Root canal is a passage way for nerves and blood vessels
Cementum is hard materials that covers the tooth roots. Periodontal ligament is tissues that anchor the tooth to the bone. Nerves and blood vessels supply the tooth with nutrients.
