Yesterday, on Day 2, I practiced the basics of line control and pencil strokes on paper. It felt like reconnecting with an old friend, as I haven't used a pencil seriously since primary school. I'm beginning to understand that art isn’t just about moving a pencil across the page — it’s about control, intention, and rhythm.
Perhaps I can say that making art is like dancing on a floor — every stroke has its own movement, flow, and energy. Just as a dancer must be aware of their body and space, an artist must be aware of the pressure, angle, and motion of their lines.
On Day 1, I learned that the foundation of art lies in structure — everything begins with simple lines and shapes. Today, I started to explore how to use those basic structures to form something more meaningful. It’s exciting to see how even the simplest shapes can be transformed into characters, objects, and stories with just a bit of practice and imagination.
DAY 3 - COMBINING SHAPES INTO OBJECTS
Goal: Learn to use basic shapes to build simple objects—this is the foundation of cartoon characters and environments.

Here’s the syllabus for today’s learning:
-Warm-Up
Quick shape drills again (like Day 1), but a bit faster now:
10 circles
10 squares
10 triangles
10 rectangles
10 ovals
Then combine:
Draw a circle on top of a square → becomes a snowman base
Triangle on a rectangle → house roof and wall
Oval beside a circle → cartoon head and ear
No erasing—just keep the flow going.
- Object Construction Practice
You'll now combine shapes to create simple recognizable things. Here are 6 objects to draw, one by one. I’ll break down how to “build” them using shapes:

Tiny circles for eyes
Triangle for nose
Rectangle arms or sticks

Oval for top opening
Two vertical lines down
Curve (half oval) for bottom
Add handle (a backward “C”)

I start to see and imagine things that i would like to draw . While taking bath , my imagination keep coming . Im looking what i can do in another 12 days from now.
