Since I am living in the Philippines, and here in Moalboal, i.e. Cebu Province, we do not have any IKEA or other furniture stores, we tend to make and design our own furniture ...
We can just walk into the lumber yard and ask them to make whatever you want, like for instance chairs, benches, beds, doors, kitchen cabinets etc.
They can manufacture in different kind of woods, resulting in different styles and levels of quality. Here are some pictures of what to expect (just made the pictures quickly at my house):

. For sure I cannot forget to mention to them that the dimensions are in meters, since they mostly mix imperial and metric system out here!
