HeyYo wassup,
Hi eveybody in HIVE community!
I am Quang Vinh, also called Alvin. I was born and grew up in Da Nang, a beatiful coastal city in the central of Viet Nam.
Me in my world
Da Nang - My hometown - from the top of the moutain
The central Viet Nam owns the diverse of landscapes and terrains, where live the multi of minority ethnic people group, which insprire me the love of travelling, wandering and photography (photo taken by my friend - @whynotcamp).

I am currently a tour guide for inbound tourists. I quite love this job because as an English speaking guide, my guests come from all over the world, who bring along their own culture and story to share. Everybody want to share their stories, and I think, a tour guide, you are not only the one who show guests around and present your knowledge, but also to be a local friend, who guests can trust in and share story to each others.
Unlike other people working in tourism, I always call myself as a “host” and “guests”, not “tour guide/staff” and “tourists/customers”, cause in my mind, I am a host, a local friend, and my guests are my friends from around the world, who come to visit me and explore, learn about my culture, my country, and I also may learn a lot about the world through their stories.

My job has been suspended for about two years because of the COVID pandemic, so I am temporarily a English teacher for living. However, the social quarantine was also a chance for me to look deeply into the people and nature in my hometown, so that I might explore some hidden charms around that I have never realized.
Like having a coffee on sidewalk at a 40-year-old "shop"?

Or wander and explore somewhere you've never came before
Into the forest - why not? (photo by my friend - @whynotcamp)
In the forest, all you need is some fire and a buddy

Lastly, I would like to send a lot of thanks to @whynotcamp and @trangbaby for introducing me HIVE community. Hopefully this is a chance for me to countinue my job as a tour guide, let me show you around my country and share my stories, and listen to yours, so you may travel right from your home.
Thank you <3
