FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
If you are here right now, then I believe you really want to know and understand how the various Communities on hive works, so welcome because you are in the rightful place. There is always the saying that states "We learn every single day", and so don't be surprise if I tell you I'm still working my way out on this particular topic on hive as I type this to you.
While getting use to hive in discovery, there are a lot of things to look out for, and one of the most important of them all is knowing the rightful community that best fit your posts. Note that on hive blog, you can always post your articles to your personal blog, but that is not a very good idea to newbies as you are not yet exposed and not known by many people yet, and might have it difficult to have followers to read your articles and engage, That is why various Communities are there to fit in with whatever topic you have so you can grow your audience while thinking of publishing to your personal blog in the future somedays if necessary.
Looking at this write-up, you will notice that the words are not much and that is because I'm still finding my way through here, and I feel I should share with you all as I'm learning and finding my way out here, so you don't go ahead and make the same mistakes i made.

HIVE COMMUNITIES
like I said earlier, There are different communities for different topics, so whatever topic you have to write, always know that there is always a community for that topic, let's say for instance, we have Leofinance Community for people that want to talk about cryptocurrencies, finance or business-related topics, we also have the Movies & TV shows Community for movie reviews, we have Photography lovers Community for photographers, we also have the Sketchbook Community for sketching, drawing (both digital and non digital drawings) and many more other Communities to discover on the community selection page.
YOUR REPUTATION MATTERS
This article is not meant to be long so you don't get afraid of going through it, posting in the right community helps build your reputation on the hive blog, and when I say reputation, I don't necessarily mean the number written close to your profile, but what I mean is that, people will get to see your contents, and when they decide to visit your profile to know more about you, they will find out your contents are placed in the rightful communities and well arranged, and that can make them follow you just to read more of your contents, and that is a great achievement for you already.
