Hello friends, Hope you are doing good?
I decided to create a post about something that really touched me today. My 10 minutes conversation with my little friend.
So earlier today, I had a pop up notification from my Facebook ; "Hey,senior man! ",twas an old small friend of mine. He had come to tell me how unfair life has been to him and to tell me that he was terribly ill, I told him I've been ill on maleria also for some days and I'm currently on medications,he didn't believe me till I sent this picture of me test running my camera trying to take my maleria pills.
He then replied,"Senior man you even have money to buy drugs and eat o",he further added that he has been ill for 2 days but haven't been able to go on medication due to the fact that he eats once or twice at most a day,that he even need food in order to be on medications. I was skeptical and inquisitive for a minute that I asked him where he got the money to subscribe which he told me its a friends phone and he's currently on Facebook free mode. I further asked him if he's in town he said he had travelled to stay with his hustling friend, he further added that the owner of the phone will need the phone soon that the reason he messaged me is that he needs some financial assistance. This really broke me down.
Though I didn't have enough, I had to help in my little way, after sending him some amount of money I recalled that this young friend of mine is an orphan. It really broke me down more that I really wished I could do more if I had my way. The 10 minutes conversation with my little friend changed my thinking about life today. Over the weekend I have been bothered about what I'd wear for a friends birthday or how I was going to buy glo oga sim, so I'd be subscribing $10 which would give me double of my data plan or the location of my next dance video. My 10mins conversation with my friend changed the perspective I had about Life and to always be thankful for each and every little wins, and also that Joy is the simplest form of gratitude. Dear friends, in every situation you find yourself be Greatful always.
