[Contest] OCD & POSH need a logo! MY GRAPHIC PROPOSAL OF THE LOGO POSH / MI PROPUESTA GRÁFICA DEL LOGO DE POSH

Hello friends!

This time I bring you my first draft of the POSH logo design. As @acydio informed us in the contest guidelines, POSH is a "Proof of Sharing" project and although they have been around for some time they still don't have an identifier and it is foreseen that in the future they will also have their own token.

POSH's logo design draft is focused on two fundamental premises: on the one hand, the logo must be simple, straightforward and clear. In other words, minimalist. On the other hand, it must also have the ability to be reduced to a recognizable text size. The latter is achieved by converting the design created into a font.

My first attempts at creating the POSH isotype.

The isotype I designed represents a group of friends or people sharing. Let me explain. In the design there are three repetitive elements and each one is composed with a circle and two lines protruding from the sides. These elements represent the people seen from the ground or from above. The circle would be the head and the lines on the sides would be the arms. Initially I was comfortable with this version. However, I wanted to go a little further and added three circles in the center and this gave more dynamism to the design, because now it looks like a group of friends sitting at a table sharing a meal or drinks, but in the end the important thing is the perception of sharing.

The color selected is blue RGB#0070b8. The reason is very simple, blue is the color that represents friendship and an act of sharing must have some degree of empathy with the other and that, to some degree, is a very friendly act.

The font used in all text is Arial Round MT Bold. A sans serif typeface with rounded edges, easy to read and that can be scaled to almost any size make it the ideal choice to complete the logo.

Version without the dots in the center. Simpler and more legible.

Both the isotype and the texts are designed to be scaled up.

To recreate this token application in the reward space in Hive, I converted the design to font with the help of the Fontographer program and brought it to a 19 point size.

En esta oportunidad les traigo mi primer borrador sobre el diseño del logotipo de POSH. Como nos informó @acydio en los lineamientos del concurso, POSH es un projecto que se trata de una "Prueba de compartir" y aunque ya llevan algún tiempo aún no tienen un identificador y además se prevé que en el futuro también posean su propio token.

El borrador de diseño del logotipo de POSH está enfocado en dos premisas fundamentales: por un lado, el logo debe ser sencillo, simple y claro. En otras palabras, minimalista. Por el otro, también debe tener la capacidad de reducción a un tamaño de texto que sea reconocible. Esto último lo conseguí convirtiendo el diseño creado en una fuente.

Primeros intentos en la creación del isotipo de POSH.

El isotipo que diseñé representa a un grupo de amigos o personas que comparten. Les explico. En el diseño hay tres elementos repetitivos y cada uno está compuesto con un círculo y dos líneas que sobresalen a los lados. Estos elementos representan las personas vistas desde planta o desde arriba. El círculo sería la cabeza y las líneas de los lados serían los brazos. Inicialmente me sentía cómodo con esta versión. Sin embargo, quería ir un poco más allá y agregué tres círculos en el centro y esto le otorgó mayor dinamismo al diseño, porque ahora pareciera un grupo de amigos sentados en una mesa compartiendo una comida o bebidas, pero al final lo importante es la percepción de compartir.

El color seleccionado es el azul RGB#0070b8. La razón es muy sencilla, el color azul es la que representa la amistad y un acto de compartir debe tener cierto grado de empatía con el otro y eso, en cierto grado, es un acto muy amistoso.

La fuente usada en todos los texto es la Arial Round MT Bold. Una tipografía sans serif con bordes redondeados, de fácil lectura y que puede ser escalada a casi cualquier tamaño la convierten en la opción ideal para completar el imagotipo.

Versión sin los puntos en el centro. Más sencilla y legible

Tanto el isotipo como los textos están concebidos para ser escalados.

Para recrear esta aplicación del token en el espacio de recompensas en Hive, convertí el diseño en fuente con ayuda del programa Fontographer y lo llevé a un tamaño de 19 puntos.
