As they say, "Water is life," and it is the basic need for life without which will our life be in danger. We have abundance of this resource in our world, water covers roughly 71% of the earth's surface. Despite the size or abundance of water, there are so many people experiencing a water crisis worldwide.
Water-scarce areas require residents to rely on rivers and streams, dig wells or boreholes, develop new water-saving technologies, or recycle wastewater before they can access water for daily use. A water crisis may have a negative impact on any economy, including poverty. This is because without water, it would be difficult to cultivate crops, live healthy life, and keep up with many economic activities.

The water situation in our communities in Ghana was brought to our attention a few months ago. We realised that we could connect with those communities and offer them any support we can with power of Hive. This would not be similar to a charitable act of giving but to help them discover how they can better their lives. This resulted in the Hive empowering communities initiative that has now provided many people with good drinking water.
Many people have now learned about Hive and have seen Hive's impact in their lives. We made it a priority to educate residents in the communities we visited about the Hive blockchain's potential and how, if more people were aware of it, it could greatly benefit them.
Although Hive cannot resolve every issue in our communities, by making it a priority to raise awareness, we expose the community members to information about how they can leverage the blockchain for greater good.

It is crucial that we keep up initiatives like these that can help Hive spread throughout the world for mass adoption. In the lives of many people in our world, hives can truly make a difference. We didn't know enough about the project's potential outcomes or the value it would add to the Hive ecosystem when we first started it, but when more people became aware of Hive through it we saw the need to embark more of the water projects.

After starting the first two projects in two communities in Ghana, we received requests from radio stations, people and some communities to talk more about Hive. The community will soon be informed of updates from our promotional tours to learn about the most recent developments since the project launch.
Our goal is to create awareness of Hive among the majority of the youth in our communities, and to encourage those with the means to invest to consider Hive investment. Credit for the project's success goes to @valueplan for providing the funding as well as to everyone who provided support in other ways. Below are the most recent Hive Project updates.
