What's buzzing, friends?

Santa Claus is a genuinely fascinating fellow. If you've ever been lucky enough to meet him, you know there's something special about this jolly old soul. His sparkling blue eyes twinkle with delight as he speaks, and his hearty laugh is enough to warm even the coldest winter night. As the tales go, he can make dreams come true, and his presence is known worldwide. Let's talk about him a bit today.

Popsci (LINK) wrote an interesting article about the jolly fellow. Some highlights were that Santa would have to move at about 5.083 million miles per hour over 24 hours to deliver presents to all the world's homes! With an average count of 2.67 children per home and more or less 75,000,000 homes, WOW. Talk about moving quickly.

Another research firm in the UK did some number crunching as well. They concluded that if Santa hit up all the homes on Christmas Eve, moving as fast as he did, he would burn around 150 billion-ish calories! For reference, most people have a 2,000-per-day calorie count, and to burn "Santa calories," you must live around 205,500 years. The moral of the story: the cookies you leave out are essential!

Lastly, in 2002, Forbes LINK listed Santa's net worth close to infinity to do what he do. For comparison's sake, Elon Musk, the world's richest man, would look like a broke college student compared to Santa’s riches!

Santa - let's review. He moves fast, has vast wealth, burns more calories in one night than you can in 200,000 years, and can fly. #legend
