This one needs little commentary! I mentioned when I started this series that all of Creation shows underlying fractal geometry in terms of how things are arranged – how, down to the genetic codes that run all life, there are these patterns of self-similarity that allow plants and animals to faithfully reproduce the patterns that we see all around us.
What more lovely sign of spring could there be, year after year, than a daffodil – and to see the pattern come out on my canvas in Apophysis was a truly lovely spring sight!
It was also, partially, an accident. I started here …
… and then hit the wrong button and changed the color.
But, the color palette was pleasantly familiar, and after millions of iterations in a particular direction, it was beginning to look even more familiar, like a big flower bud.
Still, I did not expect the final product you see at the top to be so perfect – enjoy!
