What should you do in nature without having something under you while sitting or sleeping, or doing both of these things? Mats have been there long in our nationalism in the international society! But we had to find something being more comfortable in nature, and hence the inflatable sleeping pads came!
The mats are equally important as a good sleeping bag, because they are giving you isolation, and because it gives you a soft bed. You can use them being out in nature, and human nature and the treaties of human nature mean that we are either at home, outside in nature, or abroad in nature. The human nature is a condition we are in during the whole life!
The simplest sleeping pads are made of foam, but inflatable sleeping pads are also much used, and you can use what you want and in relation to what you like. In addition to these mentioned, comes the nature’s own substrates, and these can be reindeer skin and spruce bark. If it is wet and cold, it can be smart to combine the substrates. For example with one foam pad at the bottom and one inflatable at the top.
The foams are a very good start for scouts. These mats work pretty well although there are coming some sparks from the fire. It can also withstand sharp twigs and rocks on the ground. And people enjoy the trips in the forests and in the nature, and one must be careful to do things properly, and being engaged with loving the people being around with reflected messages. Otherwise, you find pretty many opinions among people, but it is good to have something to say and something to write from lectures and from experiences.

So the mats and the sleeping pads are good, and you can use them out in nature, or in a tent while sleeping. And all these expeditions in nature, mean that you should use the natural equipments that exist, and that you should use the products being with you to appreciate life, and the way we came to life!
