Welcome once again on my blog, today I am very happy to participate in the contest proposed by our friend @acidyo, where we are invited to create a proposal for the development of a business card for Hive, where its back will vary according to the different countries, for contest purposes, we will focus on the Philippines. It seems to me, an excellent initiative, because it is great to have a business card always at hand to invite more people to join the blockchain.

CREATIVE PROCESS

BUSINESS CARD (FRONT VIEW)

I started by creating a 1005 x 600 canvas in Macromedia Fireworks 8 software. I used this software because it is the one I have the most experience with, and it has many tools that make the design work easier.

The next thing I did was to review the different textures offered by the program, among them I found one that caught my attention. Called illusion 1, I liked it because it gave the impression of a small beehive in metallic colors.

Insert the free downloadable Hive png logo, which I obtained from this web page.

Inspired by the visual effect of the background texture, I thought of joining several Hive logos, creating a small honeycomb.

Although the first texture I used was motivating, it didn't work for the background, so I thought the best option would be black, using a cone type gradient, to create the metallic effect I wanted to achieve.

Incorporate the Hive logo again and interpolate with the background.

I searched the web for a QR code generator and created one for the hiveonboard page, I really liked doing this, because I learned something new, I had never generated something like this, I did some tests with my cell phone and checked that it took me to the correct page.

I downloaded the code and inserted it into my image, I left it quite visible, so that scanning was comfortable.

The next step was to insert the text, I used a simple font to make it legible and attractive with the design.

Export the image in PNG and here is the result.

For the back view, I tried to keep the same concept of the front, but this time I was inspired by the Philippine flag, whose colors are blue, red and white with yellow stars and sun.

The first thing I did was to duplicate the Hive logos and change their shades to blue and white. Then I erased the areas that I didn't need of each one of them, until the logo was formed by the three colors. With the drawing tools I inserted the stars present in the flag.

Insert the mail code that will take you to @hiveph's Discord and insert the text, for this, I used the sun of the Philippine flag taken from this image and incorporated it inside the word HIVE. I also inserted a reference phrase that says: Be inspired, create and build your dreams, I thought of that phrase because Hive represents for me just that.

On the left side I inserted different irregular geometric shapes with the colors of the flag and the Hive logo.
